Vibrant Lives: Spanish-Language Shorts

A program of our favorite international Spanish-language films highlighting community, family, and identity. The shorts in this year’s lineup explore the many complexities of these relationships, taking a darker outlook on the ties that bind. From hypnotic and strangely immersive portraits of place and memory and an unconventional memorial to a lost friend, to slightly twisted coming-of-age tales and a harrowing look at an unusual summer job, Vidas Vibrantes is a transportive study and celebration of Spanish-speaking communities around the world.
