Keeping the park beautiful is a group project. Do your part to keep the park open and welcome to all by following these simple guidelines:
Pets At The Park
If you own a pet:
Keep pets on leash between 9am and 9pm. Off-leash hours are before 9am and after 9pm in accordance with NYC Park rules.
Do not allow your pet to dig in garden beds or on lawns. If your pet does dig, fill the hole with soil from our soil boxes.
Clean up after your pet. Extra poop bags are available throughout the park.

GENERAL PARK Guidelines
Walk, don’t ride, bikes through the park.
Dispose of waste in the proper receptacles. If your waste does not fit in the available trash or recycling bins, please carry out of the park.
Refrain from using decorations that are difficult to clean, such as confetti or glitter.
Follow all lawn guidelines as relates to passive and/or on-leash usage.
In accordance with NYC Parks rules and regulations:
Smoking and alcohol are prohibited on Parks’ grounds.
In-line skating is prohibited on Parks’ grounds.
Feeding wildlife is prohibited on Parks’ grounds except for unconfined squirrels and birds.
Special events permits are required for events/activities where twenty or more people will be present.
Digging for metal detecting activities is not permitted on passive lawns, in garden beds, or near playgrounds and memorials. For other areas, apply for a NYC Metal Detector Permit.
