Marcel The Shell with Shoes On (2021) by Dean Fleischer Camp.

Marcel is a lovable shell, standing just one inch tall. He shares his vibrant life with his grandmother, Connie, and pet lint named Alan. They once belonged to a thriving community of shells but now endure their lives as the only ones left following an inexplicable disaster. When a filmmaker posts a short video online about Marcel - it catapults him to fame. As his internet popularity grows, so do the risks and troubles he faces, but this newfound recognition also brings him the possibility of rediscovering his family.

Free screening presented in partnership with Paramount+, Brooklyn Magazine, Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso, and Rooftop Films.

This program is supported, in part, by Council Member Crystal Hudson.
