Come and participate in a 2-hour cyanotype workshop (followed by a 30-min after-class tea time) hosted by artist and educator Ife Oluwamuyide, where you will learn the basics of cyanotype printing. Workshop participants will experiment with cyanotype printing techniques on recycled textiles such as fabric paper. The workshop will take place at Fort Greene Park on South Monument Plaza Lawn from 10:30AM-1:00PM on July 11 (rain date: July 12). Get in touch with nature and your creative side and join us outside!
RSVP required. No prior skills necessary! Please bring a blanket, mat, or preferred seat. We will provide premade sheets made with old fabric and recycled paper that participants can use as an option for printing. Workshop participants can use a variety of provided recycled surfaces or bring their own. Please bring a refillable water bottle.
